Gears of War 3 Leaked!!!.... Sorta

according to numerous sources, an unfinished but almost fully playable beta version of gears of war 3 has been leaked to various torrent sites. its rumored that the beta contains an almost complete campaign mode, as well as various multilayer options.
Obviously the beta is only playable on Xbox 360's that contain a flashed disk drive. This means that the beta would be useless to 90% of Xbox 360 owners, however it does mean that many owners of a flashed Xbox 360 will have the option to play the game months before release.

Personally many would rather wait and experience all that the finished game has to offer, as opposed to the sub par experience offered by the beta, but whats your opinion on the matter? can you simply not wait any longer to play the Xbox 360 epic, or would you rather wait and and experience the game in all its completed glory?

Call of Duty XP Event

Los Angeles may not be getting any screen-time in Modern Warfare 3, but the city is set to host one of the biggest and most forward thinking Call of Duty events yet in the form of Call of Duty XP 2011. Usually hundreds of trigger-happy, gun-mad young men cooped up in a secure 12-acre compound in the urban confines of L.A would be cause for an ATF callout but this Labour Day weekend, the occasion is the first in what Activison promises will become an inaugural event for the CoD community. Starting out big, this year’s Call of Duty XP event will feature demos of Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer and new Spec-Ops survival co-op modes, as well as a £1 million dollar Call of Duty tournament and paintball match set in recreated versions of your favourite Call of Duty maps.

As well as the debut of the new Modern Warfare 3 modes, a full-featured Call of Duty Elite will be on show for gamers to sample. Developers will also be on hand to host Q&A and discussion panels as well as a live CoD armoury/Museum will complement “AAA Live Entertainment” say Activision.

How to kill George Romero!

No doubt this has been stressing people out all over the globe but I think how to kill Mr Romero has finally been revealed!

Gamers need to have the Scavenger sniper rifle menu, and once again will need to lure him back to the water outside the building.  Once you have him there, you need to shoot a metal plate with the Scavenger, making sure it explodes next to George. This will slow him down giving you the chance to keep blasting him over and over to make him move closer to you.

This process must be repeated again and again to ensure you take Romero down for good.

It has also come to light that he can be killed with a fully upgraded pack-a-punch V-R11 weapon but doing so wont earn you the achievement and powerups.

Good luck with this and remember your control will break if you smash it on the floor.
